The Road King Special features the latest member of the V-Twin family, the Milwaukee-Eight engine. With 107 cubic inches of displacement, this engine lays down serious power that puts the rider at the head of the pack. Thanks to a new exhaust and new eight-valve design, the motor develops approximately 10% more power than its relatives. The Milwaukee-Eight works together with a redesigned 6-Speed Cruise Drive® Transmission for the ultimate in power and control. The combination offers smooth shifts and continuous power through every stage of the gears.

Designers redesigned the suspension, too, to give the Road King Special optimal handling. Featuring Showa® Dual Bending valve technology, the bike uses a bigger, beefier front fork to give more control to the front wheel. In the back, a rear emulsion shock is adjustable with just the twist of a knob.
